Round 2 Superior Allterrain Challenge

Post by superior allterrian »

Superior Allterrain Challenge round 2 starts on saturday 11th June at 8am. We have incorporated two new tracks which should see competitors having a lot more time on tracks. Racing will go all day Saturday and Sunday with finals on Monday morning. There will be a rock pit bar with fire drums to keep everyone warm, with methanol cars under lights on Saturday night. Feel free to try your luck racing your own remote control car. The new tracks include a man made gorge, sand trap, wombat holes, tabletop and log bridge. One track will be a natural terrain track. For the outlaw class there is two new tracks.

Actually i gave this a little thought today. This will have to wait till Next round mate and i will defianatly give you a drive then as long as its not Dark when we finish again. Only reason being i am also competing the weekend after at Bathurst so for me to even compete at this event is a big Stretch. If i damage anything i have 2 days to fix it before i leave for Bathurst.

But as long as my rig is back together i will defianatly make this event.

Still need to Rebuild my Transfer and fit Maxi drive 49% reduction gears, Convert to Fox Air shocks and then build a complete custom rear D60 diff. But we are doing OK with the mods so far and as long as everything goes well i will make it.

ALSO, PRICING FOR SPECTATORS.

A bunch of us already heading up to LCMP anyway (love the June long weekend - oohhh soooooo cold!!!!), so don't need to tell us about the park fees.

Saw round 1, but the entry fee was for the whole Expo site, not just the Challenge (and $12 was pretty cheap considering the action on offer).

In short, is there a fee to spectate this event????? Don't mind paying, just need to tell the gang so they are prepared for it.

Thanks.

Damn it i thought i was going to have it easy again :bad-words:
Apparently the Outlaw courses are going to be more Rock Crawling this time so it should come down to the best drive not so much the fastest. Last time i just went as fast as i could with a flat tyre :D
