Massive job if ya plan on re-using the rocky front. The centre would be offset to the left hand side of the rig for starters. And the 2nd steering wheel would be crazy, you would need to fab up hydro steer for the rear steer. Plus a million other things that im too tired to think of at the moment. But if you are keen, dont let anyone stop you. Basicaly it wouldnt be worth it in the end im my opinion compared to other mods that could be done.

I would be interested in seeing the end result. I have seen some monster trucks which have rear steer and they actually have a joystick sort of scenario on the centre console. Might be easier and less intrusive than a second steering wheel... where would you put it?

Is there an echo in here? :?

HEY!!! :finger: :finger: :finger: :finger:
i got nothin i just think its funny that we'll both 5h17 all over wills 60 series.

i was thinkon that we should save the diffs for a buggy or something coz yeah frankly i couldnt b stuffed workin out all that stuff, but a joystick is a good idea, i figure if u could find room u could stick down near the gear stick.
its alright theres still time il do that when im older and wiser. (pfft)
if some1 could give me somewhere to start i might think about it

decided its too wet n im too sic to keep grinding these mounts off...
gonna quiz superior engineering, or another custom place in qld.

so far both mounts on the rear have been removed, n almost ground flush to the housing. fronts r Grimace n cast so it sh*ts me :bad-words:

im currently after opinions on suspension set up:

mq/mk springs SPUA (3 leaves rear, 4 front)
scissor shackles front
superior engineering drop shackles rear
rear shox /\ configuration... procomp or whatever i can get
front custom hoops

cheers mull
tyres will be whatever i can get (33/35s) on 15x10 steels

after taking many measurements i have found that nissan front mount dont have to be changed as they appear to line up around half-1mill.

the distance from the center of the diff to the spring perches measures:
----rocky: 340~
---nissan: 340~

Distance between perches
rocky.......... 680mm~
Nissan mk....675mm

its hard to measure properly but im almost 89% certain this will be a piece of pisss and have it runnin when i can afford to get teh suspension.

anyone got measuments of mk/mq eye-eye or to centerbolt (front n rear) would be very helpful..

thanx for your patience
oh and rocky RUF wont fit, it pulls the diff backward about 2"
feroza rears fit rocky & have a longer load leaf.

Throw this question over to the Nissan section.

Unfortunately, Ive got a GQ which is completely different. I would've done the measurements otherwise.

You after the leaf spring measurements? Gap between springs or something else?

I have a MQ rolling chassis sitting in my backyard so any measurements you want i can grab off it.
