Hi all, just wondering if there is any suggestions for a larger altenator to suit an 87 1.3l sierra? Dont know if possible but any help is appreciated.

i have a ford lazer alt,about 20 more amps,dont conect the plug just the big wire with the crimp on it,start the car and rev to get alt to kick in,they have built in reg.

i have used a 50 amp 85 pajero alt, but i now have a 65amp 95? courier, bolt straight in, just connect up the main wire.

If you go to www.aea.com.au and search through their alternator listings you'll most likely be able to find something that looks similar and will bolt in with minimum mods.
