Talking to Ian (my navi) the other night and an interesting point was raised about one particular competitor. This particular bloke (you know who you are) was making all sorts of remarks about how the tracks were not hard enough (when we did the walk through of the tracks) and that he shouldn't of bothered bringing the truck to drive them. Ian made a comment to the guy that he did not show up to help mark/build the tracks and therefore was in no position to complain. What was funny was when this bloke didn't even manage to complete track 2 let alone be competitive .
The bloke that I am refering to will no doubt not even care that I posted this (we are actually mates ) and will laugh it off but it just goes to show that you should not sprook off and expect to finish up without egg on your face.
