I have a NL SWB pajero 99 model. I recently changed the Engine and transmission brackets. Now the indicator in the dash has the front wheels flashing, got the car on jacks and it seems like only the back wheels are spinning.
Any ideas on the problem?

Yes your front diff auto disconnect is not engaging when you select 4x4.
Causes are : -
- front diff sensor knackered
- plunger actually jammed (perhaps sand)
- vacuum lines have a leak/popped off fittings
- vacuum solenoids (x2) maybe faulty
- electrical wiring connection issue
If you have recently done some work in the engine bay it's probably a connector or vacuum line that has popped off (if the system was working fine before) so you will have to trace your wiring and vacuum lines to check for integrity.
