It might be worth looking on a commodore forum. I've been getting some info off http://www.justcommodores.com.au
i don't think it's a case of low fuel pressure because it idles fine and will rev happily in park. as for the injectors i'm not suredumbdunce wrote:lebanese tune-up, eh?ratboy wrote:disconect all power then reconect take to 3000 rpm for 1 min see if this helps
Carts also suggests it could be low fuel pressure or dodgy injectors.
hmm, i feel like a total dumb assdumbdunce wrote:is the ECU showing any error codes?
just spoke to roc70y and he told me how the ECU error sensor works (i was reading it wrong) and code error 33 comes up which is the MAP sensor circuit which may have been damaged on the trip back from QLD. i'll pick up another one tomorrow and see how it goes.
I might have to go to Nick'n'Payless tomorrow for Sannon's Pulsar so give me a yell when you are on the way, or I will just grab you a MAP when I'm there.STUMPY wrote:hmm, i feel like a total dumb assdumbdunce wrote:is the ECU showing any error codes?

thanks heaps scott.Scott wrote:Another thing to check is the vacuum hose between the manifold and MAP sensor. Pull it off and make sure there are not leaks.
just checked it and the vacuum line had come off. put it back on and it seems to have fixed the problem. the diganostic light is still showing it up the be a fault. do you have to disconnect the battery to reset the ECU?
yes, usually you have to disconnect it for a few minutes to reset it.STUMPY wrote:thanks heaps scott.Scott wrote:Another thing to check is the vacuum hose between the manifold and MAP sensor. Pull it off and make sure there are not leaks.
