V8 County Electrics

Post by isuzu110 »

Hi

Took my County through some waist deep mud at Levuka on the WE. Now when i put one indicator on, both sides flash at once plus the parking lights.

Any ideas where to start ? Checked the trailer plug to ensure there were no shorts there.

Also, where is the flasher unit ? Somewhere behind the metal plate holding the fuse blocks on the inside of the firewall ?

Thanks
Rod

Does this help?

You will see a flash can suspended by 2 green wires in the vicinity of the fuse blocks

You sure you haven't accidently knocked the Hazzard light switch without knowing?

They only flash when the indicator is turned on.

I have done it before
