I have fitted BATC components to the Patrol, however it seems to suffer from more bump steer now and tram tracks a little more. Didn't seem to do it with just the steering arm, mainly pronounced with the H/D draglink. I was either looking at going back to a std arm or trying a return to centre damper, or trying two dampers. I may udjust the box up a little, still leaving a little slack to see if that makes any difference.
Any suggestions or comment would be appreciated

Aftermarket steering arms and draglinks

Les's stuff is pretty good, one of the main things is the draglink is adjustable, so this may have the pitman arm sitting in a differnt position, hence the sector shaft in the box will be off dead centre. The backlash can be set, but the box should be dead centre to make the adjustment correct. I can't see how the z adjustable draglink would alter the bumpsteer, as the angularity of the pivot points remains the same, unless you have dropped the pitman arm or raised the knuckle mount. The z shape is there just to remove strain on the ball joints on flexy machines.

Cheers, however I don't have a z shape steering arm, just straight. I put the RTC damper on and it has fixed it, although not the ideal fix. I reckon because it is a 3 inch lift with 15mm packers ( although it has sagged about 10mm) and it only has 3 degree castor bushes to suit 2 inch lift. Ideally it could do with castor plates or drop boxes. Although I am unsure about the legality of the castor plates and drop boxes.
