Which gears would be more suited to my GU Rockhopper or Gearmaster , and could i fit them myself ??????

with the 2.8 you may need to machine the housing i think.. not sure.. give them a call and ask which of the two requires machining.

gearmaster requires machining

i have these installed .... highly recommend any reduction gearing for a patrol

i have Rockhoppers in my GU and they are the best mod i have done to my truck..
i can't say which is better as i dont know of any one that has gearmaster's
but i am led to believe there is the price difference due to a backlash eleminator in the gearmaster but i havent seen a need for it in mine
