ME KNOB fell off !!!

Post by Noisey »

For sooo long I have pulled it, tugged it, stroked it, twisted it, turned it, bent it, burnt it……crap I’ve even taken a saw and welder to it. Went to play with it over the long weekend and FARK me, IT FELL OFF right in my hand.

That’s right people the transfer lever does come apart and best off all it fell apart simply by engaging 4x4. A simple sidchrome extension and socket and I was back on my merry way with my knob all broken like and lying on the floor.

So tell me Noisey, was your knob standard or has it been modified. I've modded mine after a body lift but as yet i've not had a drama. I hope some simple surgery will remedy your ailment.

Body was raised about two years ago and the transfer lever was bent to suit. Now I will do a bit more modding and the lever will go nowhere near touching anything ever again.
