Sounds bout right.
I have extended it round the carb. i have had a crapload issues from crap getting into the carbs. I got the last carb for $20. :). I have spare carb parts if u need it as well. Just not the jets.
Easy to do. One off and next one on.
cheers

When you fit your carb, also fit a second filter just before the fuel line fitting on the carb, will help keep the crap out of the jets. The idle jet on a zook is pretty small, and realy sensetive to poor fuel filtration. I have a cheapo filter mounted in the engine bay, and a good quality one in the factory spot (efi filter from VX commadore). Have not had any mroe blocked jet type issues since running this setup.

I had a 1.5L corolla carby put on my 1.3. went really well, no troubles on hills. had a manual choke.
I also used a second fuel filter, just a cheap inline one in the engine bay, and had no more jet trouble, which is what went wrong with the suzi one.

i think i'd be safe in saying the round thing on top is the air filter, or part of the air filter set up. and no, the carby is not the whole engine.Crawford wrote:

just that round thing on top?
this depends on what you want, and depends on what other carby you are talking about.Crawford wrote:
Does a better carb make any difference or what? Any point in having it changed

basically, the reason why people change their carby's is because they want more power, better cruise, and better fuel consumption, or their old carby is buggered beyond repair.
