Where is that hole that the Patrol 'fell' into?

Looks awesome there... My Carbie would probably cut out on that angle though...

That is just a normal track. Not a check point, So there is no chicken track. But Jason was being a bit of a show and trying to take the hardest line possible.

But remember this night run is classed as HARD.

Yeah don't know what you mean by hoon sections. There are no speed based check points or anything. There will be some long distance treks between checkpoints, so as long as your not near houses or in a quiet zone you can hoon if you want.

i think that was more of a "scott keep of the rev limiter around houses"

But i did the right thing and keeped the car quite all night
i dont want to be the one to stuff it up of the entire club

so IMO no hooning what so ever

What, you guys don't know how to drive in a QZ? Or have night run organisers not been putting them on the maps lately? How many night runs have you guys done? What do you mean 'what is a hoon section'?

I will be driving a n/a diesel hilux, hooning is out of the question.

And why would you want to hoon any way

Number of logan night runs i have attended - about 20 over 4 yrs and wtf has that got to do with any thing :?

And in that time I have never seen a hooning zone on a map :?:

I went on my first logan night run in 1987, back in the day when we had a suzuki & were members of both the Logan & Suzuki clubs, as was most of the other members. If it's not a QZ or a check point & it was in the bush it was a hoon section

Thats fair enough

The last number of runs I have been on, most of the tracks arn't to far away from houses, and when they are the condition of most tracks around the area dont allow for much in the lines of hooning

I am still siding with 83lux, we dont need the hooning :D

No need for helmets. Vehicles must be registered. They do a breifing before the start of the run.

Depending if Rod can get the power steer sorted out before Saturday will determine whether we will make it or not. ;)
Hopefully we will get out there :P

G'day Colleen.

I can also remember when we were actually allowed to have a bit of a race on night runs. And, if I remember correctly, Cameron was always good for putting a "fang" section into his maps. But, unfortunately, nowadays with land closures and the like, we are very restricted as to where we can have our runs. With a lot of the land we use now being developed, it means the houses are getting very close to the "action", so we need to keep the noise to a minimum in order to keep the locals from arking up.
I'm with you, the night runs of old were better when we could step on the loud peddle a bit. But, unfortunately, on the whole it has become a thing of the past.
I'm sure that, if we do have a section that we can use for a bit of a fang in the future, it will be marked on the maps. Sorry Colleen, that's about the best I can do. But, we do hope to see you and Chad on more Logan night runs. You have both been great members and supporters of the club for a long time.

Cheers..
Simon.

Im keen as. Is it a competition? Or can we come for fun? I have been around ormeau before and im pretty confident with 80% of the runs. Getting in the place through shaws pocket was the hardest run last time.

Points are given for completing check points and answering questions. It is all for fun but some people are there to compete.

Well, we won't be going. The Big One was driving the patrol to work yesterday. She was about halfway therer (Bardon to Alderley) when she noticed the temp gauge needle was on the H. What does she do? She drives home? Gotta love teenagers!
