1.3L Engine mods

Post by camo »

Every one is talking about swaping engines and such.....

I was wondering if any one has tried to give the 1.3L some more curry with any sucess (or not)
different Cam shafts, extactors, weber carby... that sort of thing?

the simple stuff before going straight to the engine swap method!!

i am looking for a bit more go from the engine on the hi-way and was wondering if i need to go all the way and swap engines.

thanks
camo

(i am in Qld and it would be less hasle if i did not change the engine)

Camo I had my cam re-ground and I have been pretty happy with the results. It only cost about $70 or $80 .. so even if you are not happy it's not a real big cash outlay.

As for extractors .. If you do get me make sure that you get a flex joint installed at the end of the extractors or you will have issues with the exhust leaking at gaskets or my crack the exhast itself.
