Superior Stuff

Post by compgu »

Superior engineering now make all sorts of hardcore 4x4 gear for all makes and models and the stuff looks pretty damn good. From drop shackles to control arms the boys do it all in house. Have a Sqizz at www.superiorengineering.com.au or call 38896778.

WTF? Superior have made "all sorts of hardcore 4x4 gear" for as long as I can remember. Why the hell is this posted now? Oh, I see "joined 19 Jun 2005". Die spammer die. "The boys do it all"? Including spam web boards? Dickheads.

I was seriously considering buying a fair bit of Superior shit. You can go get screwed now. Jesus, what a disappointment.

I work at superior engineering and I am unaware of who has posted this. While I appreciate the gester it would be nice to know who has posted as we don't really push our stuff on here for this reason.

It would be nice if ya gave us a chance Heathx4 I am not sure why you would change your decision to come and see us or give us a ring because of some post on this board.

We are not in the game of pushing our stuff on forums and you will see that I have done very little or no spaming or blatent sales pushes on here because we don't like the idea.

If ya have a query ring us don't believe everything ya see on this board.

This thread should be deleted really.

I have to agree with fatass.... I didnt even know he worked there. I think that post was just annoying because it didnt really have a point to it and it was just a blatant plug with no tech attached or so.
I think....dont quote me.....I dont know what Im talking about...the monkeys made me write it

Not trying to sell anything. a mate bought a set of adjustable control arms for a gq patrol and i was really impressed with the quality and appearance of them, as a new member i didnt think that it would be a problem to make a statement as such commending someones good work. Sorry if i offended anyone.

Thanks for the clarification, my faith in Superior is restored! Seems a newbie just missed the netiquette target and landed squarely on a spam-look-a-like. I imagine now, that I was completely mistaken. Jees it reads like a set-up though. I'll put it down to a coincidence.

I can assure you it was not what it may have looked like. I have spoken to compgu and it was just a case of being unaware of how things work here cause he is a new member. I have been here long enough to know what is acceptable and generally feel products speek for themselves.

I hope that compgu is not shunted cause of this silly thread as I know he will have some good info for people in the future and will be getting around the comp seen soon.
Come on guys these forums should make people feel welcome.

Cheers
Brian

By the amount of people using this board now, there is probably more new members than old members. I am sure some new members would like to know where you can get some mods done. So what if he gives Superior a plug. I don't know maybe I am missing something.

I reckon we need a plug-a-thon. That way we will all know our options where we can get out stuff done. :P
ps I might sell stuff but I still go to a 4wd shop for mods.

Even with the Differences myself and Mick have had i will back him 100% in his customer Service. He is a stand up guy that produces a lot of great products. And he is a guy that if he says he has it then he has it. He wont stuff you around.

If your having Second thoughts about dealing with Superior then dont worry. You will be happy with the products and service he can supply.

I've got some Superior gear on my MK and I'm most happy with it. Built tough, and not badly priced either. Maybe we should knock up a list of things not to say on here, or how to say something without getting pummeled for it.

Anyway, I hope you haven't been burned by this little incident compgu, and I'm sure you'll come to love OL like a baby - as all of us have!

Cheers - Coxy
