A couple of points to note for those considering the same thing:
1. The front two bolts are in crevaces under the bonnet. These are potentially rust city. Find them and clean them out, whether you're doing a lift or not.
2. The rear two bolts need to be a couple of inches longer than the others. Also, take out the tail lights to access these.
3. Should I have had to modify my gear levers? Everything seems to be working fine & its not fouling on anything. Fingers crossed it will stay this way.
4. If you're planning to go to 33's or bigger this is the most effective mod you can do to accomodate the new tyres. We flexed it out front and rear (not hard
) at the local play track and there was no scrubbing or lockups. Fantastic.
5. Be careful of the brake lines when you are lifting it. They can stretch at the front if you are not careful.
Initial impression of the handling - I can certainly feel the difference when going around corners. But with a bit of care there's no issues at all.
Oh and on a positive note....car looks much bigger.
