Detriot Locker for Rocky

Post by BundyRumandCoke »

Here is the site for the listing.
Note the reference to the Rocky. That is an aussie Rocky, not the USA Rocky. Also, it mentions only rear application. Front and rear diffs are the same on 1985 F75 Rocky, so they will fit both diffs. I know, I got em in both.     http://www.tractech.com/App4.html

Sure it's the Aussie Rocky??

It's a Yank site (....he says wishing it was the USA Rocky  )

PS: Stop bragging and rubbing it into the Feroza owners

Check the Wreckers for lockers....unfortunately can't buy new. You may even be able to find an LSD if they have no lockers.

Hopefully nothing because they'll be worn out and you won't be able to get parts for them! :finger: :D

If you know any with Ferozas that would be great thanks! :D

I found an Australia wide wrecker site and posted a request on there too. But as already has been mentioned not many wreckers seem to have a grasp on websites and the need to check Email occasionally. :?

Somebody 'round here was after a rocky diff to send to ARB so they could build an air locker. What ever happened to that :?:

For the Engineers to design a Locker and reset machines to make them, they need to have a large 'run' of orders.

If we were lucky, we might be able to get about 50 or so people interested in getting one.....but that number is not enough to reset machines for such a small order.

Frank (Bitsamissin) has gone through this ordeal to get Air Lockers for the Pajero. See his thread in the Mitsu Section about the troubles and length of time taken to get as far as he has. Remember, there are a lot more Pajero's running round worldwide than there are Rocky's to have generated enough interest by ARB to design one.
