Anyone from QLD on here going down?? I'm heading down as a spectator, then myself and a few others from our club are heading to Sydney, and then a bit of touring through the Blue Mountains in the week to week and a half afterwards. Should be a good trip, but it's gonna be f*cken cold!! :x I was born and bred in QLD, I wasn't built for that cold stuff.
Anyone in Sydney able to tell me where we can do a bit of decent driving while we're there?? Probably only in Sydney for 1, maybe 2 days. At this stage, we've got three or four cars for the trip, all capable vehicles. But three of those cars are competing in the winch challenge, so we'll have to wait and see if they're still running after what MMM throws at them.

Hmmm not bad but you could have fitted Hilux centres with 30spline axles arb's and more gearing available for a little more than that and i bet they would last longer. Not Bagging on JacMac diffs but these are still rover gears are they not? You can also pick up another 50mm or more under the diff with hilux centres. And they are an almost straight bolt in swap. No tailshaft mods just re-drill the housing and buy costom axles.
