OME Shackles?

hey guys I just picked up some new ome shackles and pins for my lux, fronts no probs, but the rear shackles have one wierd shaped plate, what does it do and which way does it go??

anti inversion shackle, i know they are and people use them for 75's utes and shit but on a hilux? never scene em used. the lumpy bit :finger: , flip the shackle aroun so that it is on the front side of the shackle and closest to the chassis.

ok should it go on the inside of the chassis or outside??

and should the lumpy thing :D go on the chassis end or the spring end??

do I really need em, or should I hit the dealer up for something dif?

This is what my standard length lux shackle looks like, same on the other side as well only with nuts done up on the pins.

don't need em really, but if u got them now you might as well use them ;) , the lumoy bit :finger: goes on the inside of the chassis rail side, facing the fromt of the rig, just relised how shitty description i gave before :twisted:

They are defintly anti-inversion shackles.... i do use them on my hilux as i had a problem with the shakles inverting when there was no weight in the back while wheelin... if you dont have a problem with them inverting yet...these wont effect anythin already its just extra security basiclly.
