Just started #2 gen 2 SAS, fitted new Xmember, cut everything back to bare chassis and starting to mount toy stg box.
I know I haven't finished mine yet but the owner didn't want to wait any longer.

Yes we already had it cut and swapped before Franks post about the different length axles. It has been held up for the last 2 weeks while I finished the LS1 into a Patrol and fitted a Turbo'ed engine to a Safari.
It has had the rear chassis chop to raise the fuel tank but he doesn't want to chop the front chassis.

It drives.
It has a shocking stg shimmy from the 35" mudzilla's on beadlocks with no balancing, otherwise performs just as expected.
Back in the w/shop now for some finishing off. I will see if I can post some pic's before I head to the US on Tuesday.

This is a real grave dig but some of you might be interested. The Pajero that J Top did this SAS on had been sold a couple of times here in NZ and finally deregistered, was a bit dinged and carry on.

Overkill had put a couple of pics on here in the past as I think it was his brothers.

A local chap bought it and has since had it re complianced to get it back on the road.

Anyway, it was on about its 2nd trip the V6 was siezed due to cooking in a bog. It now sports a 3.5 DOHC + auto, roll cage and a host of other mods.

This weekend was a winch challenge and Don had a bit of a woopsey. Enjoy some pic's. Hopefully he comes on here for a look and a hello.

Awesome Pics Glen, glad it is still going and doing what is was built for :) How does it go with the 3.5? Needed a bigger mill than the 3litre to turn the 35"s Mudzilla's anyway. Ben (my brother) had issues with it being slighty underpowerd.
I LIKE IT, I LIKE IT ALOT!!!!!!!!!

Gidday mate, good to see you pop in for a look!

Yea the 3.5 is what it needed. I'll give him a PM to get him to pop on and tell you about it. Its got a roll cage now which meant damage was very minimal, just the cracked windscreen.

hi glen good photos found them by a fluke but anyway to you guys i damaged my pride a bit .had to do a self recovery ,it had popped the right rear tyre and with the rear locker in it turned hard to the right and rolled to you guys that know the truck it goes real good now .other mods include 3.15 transfer gears auto box changed diff lock wiring so locker now works even in 2wd fitted a warn winch with a new 6.5hp motor lengthened rear shocks ,completly rust seald body and chassis( i hate rust) changing the engine /gearbox was a bit of a mission as i had to rewire the whole truck from donor vehicle also changed alternator with power steering pump so its now up out of the dirt not to much left to do will probably put some simex 35s on later this year.
