how difficult is it to replace the water pump on a 1 litre sierra engine?? and da wot fuel do the 1 litre engines run on
The road to enlightenment requires Four Wheel Drive
Regardless of the discrepencies over leaded/unleaded, mines an '85, some will say to run it on unleaded and some will say just stick with leaded. As far as the difference in fuel prices between the two, i feel safer spending the extra 5c/litre and ensuring that my valves get that little bit of extra lubrication.

my 1.0 litre always ran better on unleaded, didnt foul plugs so often. the handbook from japan says "use 90 octane or higher, preferably unleaded. I know japan has been using unleaded for much longer than we have, but aint sure if aussie spec ones are the same? ran my 84 1.3 totally on unleaded. Also, I believe all reco engines have to be unleaded? its only hardened valve seats which are needed ?, which I believe alloy heads have anyway? . but these are just my opinions, others may know more facts?
