he has also chopped off alot of his guard, other wise it would hit flexing on the front, however he did run 34" jt's without cutting the wheel arches

Friends run 34 x 11.5 (35" actual diameter) Simex JT 2's on IFS Surfs.

This is with 3" suspension lift, 2" bodylift, and JUST rub at full lock and max. compression.

IMHO, I wouldn't think it would be a drama with a solid front axle.....

I had 34 JT's on my lux with a 2" increase in the springs, they rubbed like a mongrel over everything. I'm considering moving the axle forward rather than go for a body lift. The lux is high enough now without making it any more tippy.

moving the diff forward will make all the difference. Hilux's usually rub on the back of the front wheel arch. Rear should be fine with 3".

i think you should have explained what else he has done rather than saying it only has 2" lift. someone might be stupid enough to think that there hilux with 2" lift and everything else standard would clear 35's or 37's.

my mates 85 lux has 2'' lift and 2'' shackles with 33's and the front rubs on up travel.
Its not cool, unless it's got boost :)

with the diffs in the right places you should be able to do it. front diff moved forwards 2" and rear diff moved back a little, it should work.

i have 35's on mine. front diff moved forwards 2", rear moved back an inch and a bit. spring lift i have is fark all (probably 2"). mine dont even look like scrubbing anymore, altho i have 2" bodylift, ext shackles and dropped hangars so that gets me outta trouble.
