Post by turbogu »

hey all, im putting my new tv/dvd in the gu this arvo and need to know how the stereo/dash surround comes out, is it clipped in or screwed in from behind it some where???? its a 2000 gu coil cab with factory cassette

its the bit that covers the centre of the dash and has the sub tank switch and surrounds the air con/heater controls

im starting when i knock off work at 12.30 so any help i can get before then would be ace

Console surround just clips in - no screws. It is pretty tight, but just need a bit if levering.

Easiest place to lever off is the inside of the airc-con controls with a small flat blade screwdriver. Just take it easy so ytou don't split the plastic. Lever from the bottom first and the others will pop out.
