Good to people still go hear, There is another deep mud pit about 100m of neaves road near the end of the powerline track. We took 3 snatches to get a mates 60 series out with a GU patrol.

I managed to find a bit of mud here near Adelaide yesterday. It was fun with the highway tyres on, did a few steep off camber muddy climbs and bits like that.

How far out did ya need to go ??
Ummmmm.... I'd rather not give the exact location for fear of incriminating myself.... About 40km north should be suffice.
It wouldn't present much of a challenge to anyone with decent off road tyres, but with my trusty (read: worn down and useless) Desert Dueller D684's I had some sideways fun.
Haven't got any pics, but the inlaws did get some video. They had their Patrol with winch etc, so I wasn't too concerned about getting stuck.
PS: I'm on a mission to find more 4WD places near Adelaide.....
