FAMILY FUN
GYMKHANA

6 - 7 AUGUST 2005

Conondale (130km Nth of Brisbane)


GRIGORS ROAD, CONDONDALE
(Follow signs from CONONDALE, 11 Km to site)

SATURDAY - 3 Competition events, STARTS 10am
SUNDAY - Gymkhana event, STARTS 10am

All experience levels welcome, mens & womens events
Trophies for all events


COME AND ENJOY A GREAT WEEKEND

Camping from Friday night, toilets provided

Catering on site– Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

No water on site, please bring your own water
No domestic animals allowed, especially Dogs

COSTS:
$20 per vehicle venue entry and camping all weekend $10 per vehicle venue entry for Saturday or Sunday only
$20 per competitor entry to all events
$10 per competitor for Gymkana only or $5 per Competitor for each novelty event

PLEASE NOTE:
All entrants must have THIRD PARTY EXTENSION INSURANCE in addition to COMPULSORY THIRD PARTY (CTP). This can be arranged through the CTP insurer on your vehicle registration. All vehicles must be registered and roadworthy. Soft top vehicles require a roll cage and helmets for driver and navigator.

I'm hoping to get up there to spectate and cheer everyone on though

Yep. Count me in. Taking the VMMM black betty (Rusty shorty MQ patrol with 250 Falcon donk) along for another bash after almost destroying it at Yandina ... bloody back window expolded whilst setting the second fastest outright time around the extreme course ... not bad for std springs, open centres and 33's .... probably more to do with the bloody sticky throttle :rofl:

Hows the guy that rolled the pajero???? That was a nasty cut on his head :shock:

I think a bit of rain would of made things alot more interesting :P :twisted:

Guy in the Paj is fine, his young fella had a delayed shock reaction... they ended upgoin to cruiser for the rest of the afternoon and bringin spares back to run the rig in the gymkhana sunday...

rain... would have made sunday very nasty...apologies for the pics delay.. i believe some are up at the mitsi club site..

Yep had a bit of an interestig last day to say the least :roll:

Breakages and fun aside we were Quite supprised to find out after the presentation that we had been disqualified from the first event.
Since we ran the course with no penalties and the quickest time I was taken aback when the official told us they decided this after the event had been run ?
Apparently they got the driver/navi of our entry confused,mixed up or whatever with the other car i was navi in. As it had been put out earlier in the same event with a seatbelt infringment (couldn't get it on with 1/2 out door) we wore this because we knew it had bee done.

I could go on but there's no point but it would have been a good jesture to inform those people concerned rather than keeping it to themselves till they were asked.
