driveshaft work in brisbane any recomendations?

Post by shorty_f0rty »

Hey all,

just wondering if there are any places you guys have been to for driveshaft mods that you were happy with the service and the price and would like to recomend for some work?

Just looking at getting a rear driveshaft lengthened by a bit (3" or so) and not sure who's good and who's not. has anyone had this done and if so what was the ballpark figure you ended up paying.. no idea what this will cost me so if i have an idea on a ball park price it makes it easier to find a place that wont rip me off.

any feedback is appreciated.

Cheers.

We get stuff done by Driveline Services in Brendale for work, they seem pretty good but I haven't had anything done personally.

Petron Automotive will retube and balance for around $180 last time I had one done - irrespective of the tube size or vehicle. You will need to accurately measure the length you need.

They are in Slacks creek on the southside, number in the pages.

Very happy with their work, had about 10 shafts done by them over the years - all still in perfect service.

I've used Driveline Services only once - ouch!

Since then I've always used Universal Driveshaft Services at Geebung on the Northside.
