Alternator

Can anyone suggest a good alternator upgrade for a early 308. Mine is on its way out... Its squealing - think its the bearings?

Could just be the belt a bit loose? GUD Dry Lube sticks help to quieten belt noise too- has done wonders on my engine (lots of squealing due to slight alternator misalignment). :D

Easiest job to do on a vehicle. Pull apart, changer bearings...

There you go..

Tighten belt 1st to see if noise goes.

VP commo...cheap and readily available...$90 to upgrade stator resulting in 120 Amps.
