if theres room behind the bar to run a cradle attached to the chassis rails and its own plate with a fairlead attached to it.. so that the bullbar doesnt play a role in holding the winch??

or fab up your own bar??

i wasn't planning on fabbing my own bar as i don;t have a bender or welder.

how strong will the bracket have to be if the winch is going to be 9,000lbs? would it just be easier to do alot a supports on the bull bar in behind it???

cheers greg

if you dont have a bender or a welder, you prolly wont get far, prolly best to look at getting whinch bar or a fabricater or 4b shop to fit the winch into a cradle onto ur rig

What brand is your Bar???????????????
Pic??????????

A 8mm plate up either side may be all you require, with a brace along the front side to stop flex. Any flex will stuff the winch as it will make it bind.

this is the clearest pic of the bar i have on my comp.

when u say up the side, do u mean up the sides of the supports? where it mounts onto the chassis?

thanks greg
