Ok I have a 94 turbo deisel 80 series.:lol:
problem is the tacho pulse when I switch on the indercator with headlights on :shock: or if I place hi beams on it drops out completly and the oil light comes on :x
I have a dual battery setup with a redarc isolator the negative on the main battrey gets alot of corrsion on it
thought I would ask before going to a autoelec

Check all your earths, including the negative terminal. Mix up some hot water with a bit of Bicarb Soda and tip it over the terminal- it will clean it up in no time.

Did you sort your tacho gremlins out as I have the exact same prob with my 92 HDJ80. Tacho dies with lights on & high beam or if I touch power windows or wipers.
