Front end lower than rear end??????? is this ok?

My LC SWB has a 2" suspension lift. From the side view, the rear is much higher than the front, by as much as 50mm. I wont be carrying any big loads in the rear and I would like to know is this normal? I would much prefer the front the be at the same height as the rear. Any way to solve this? I was thinking of fitting 30mm coil spacers at the front. (My LC is alround coils).

Coils spacers would be the easiet fix i reckon

but seriously, could porobly flog the ones u have for some standard ones and make some dosh?!?!
I Have a Hilux, Its nothing fancy, but it gives me plenty of fun!

Why would I wanna put the standard ones back in? Then my tyres wont fit.

A 30mm spacer in the front seems the best bet. No point to put a heavy junk load in the back!

gotoy it is normal as you want the rear end to be slightly higher than the front so when /if or are going to be loaded up the rear will sit level with the front
not to be sitting so low in the bum that it looks like the suspension is rooted
coil spacer's in the front will get it sitting level otherwise it's fine

Hi there Tidy42, cheers for the answer.
Very unlikely I'll be carrying anything in the rear except my recovery gear and camping gear, would not describe that as a heavy load. So, any advantage to increasing the front the height? But, as you say, its fien cos I see many hilux's like this. Thing is, I find it irritating!!! :?

find out if they are a medium, or heavy coil in the rear, and go a rating lighter if you can, and sell the ones in there. that way you'll have a softer ride, and it should sit even

The coils are heavy duty and work just fine. Not worth to change.

Do you have a steel bar and winch over the front? On a soft front coil this may cause the front to sit lower, for which you may need a heavier rate spring.

Hi,
Yes I do, the combined weight is around 66kg. At first I had progressive springs on. They just sagged after the bumper/winch were installed, so I replaced them with heavy duty coils which had a 2" lift. After the heavy coils were installed is when I noticed the lower front end. The heavy front coils show no sign of sagging, or shpould I say the coils closing up. So, to remedy I am suggesting the 30-40mm coil blocks.

best to leave it till you do your first major camp with it it may not take much to weigh the back end down
or even a trailer carryin a load otherwise you will be upset when you have the reverse dragster look
