NTN or SKF bearings?

Post by marin »

Is one brand better (or worse) than the other? I'm looking at front wheel bearing kits for a GQ patrol, and have the option of either brand at approx. the same price.

TD42T shorty... got some bolt on and some custom stuff.

skf are good
ntn are better.
you probably won't find an skf bearing in a supercar.
plenty of ntn's though.
however it is a wheelbearing in a 4x4. grease contamination (water and crap getting past seals and wipers) will have a much larger affect on wheel bearing life.
