redbank RED CJ theft

Post by 74cj6 »

i know this is normally a tech section but it seems that this would be the best place to track this guy down.

i was out at redbank shopping centre on sunday morning and when i was going to park the J10 i sptted a CJ with an OL sticker on the window. there was a guy trying to open the door with a coat hanger so i parked up and went over to see if he needed a hand when i aked if he was ok he jumped 10 feet in the air and ran off. i am guessing that this wasnt the owner of the RED CJ.just to satisfy my curiosity if you are the owner can you conact me and let me know that your car was there when you got back. i just took over the pet shop in the centre and drive the j10 to work every day and i really dont want to if there is a jeep theif about.

thanks

that sounds like Jamie's rig, CJer on here the mod for this section. I don't like taking my TJ there as the first week I had it I went to see a movie and someone flat blade screwdrivered the passenger door, Just one single hit. Take the WJ there all the time and it is fine.

True forgot about Banky, but I didn't know whether she had an OL sticker on it. Same area too.

Good job dude

The story made me laugh though, I keep imagining that the guy literally jumped 10 feet in the air (cartoon style) making a funny running sound and then taking off down the street in a cloud of dust
wtf is an acronym

Good work...........Jamie's was the first to spring to mind, I think Banky would be happy if hers was stolen, she is keen to get rid of it but with a awesome rig, and rusted chassis tis a bit hard.............

Good save!
