I am sure most of you have done that.
I am relocating an OME steering damper to the front on my Rangie.
Converted the pin to pin to a loop to loop by welding 2 loops on each side taken from busted Mercedes dampers....and did the typical bracket that hangs down the chassis.
I did the same mod on my disco but it does not have the same damping effect as stock.
Should I keep the steering damper as parallel as possible to the front drag link to aoiv the vibration issues?
This can be done by extending both the dhassis bracket and the U mount for the other loop end.

Is the braket on the steering arm welded. How high are they>
And how much is the bracket hanging down from the chassis?
Appreciate a pic if possible whowing how parallel is damper to arm.

Steering damper brkt on arm is clamp on.
Bracket from Chassy is fab plate drops to with in 50mm of being parallele.
chassy end higher.
