i now want to bolt a 2 barrel holley on it as i have heard this is one of the most popular and best mod to do to the power side of things and gets great results, so...
Q:what size 2 barrel is best ? i have been told the 350cfm is the go ?
Q:can someone who has done this post some pictures here for me please?
Q:the offroad kit for the holley, i have heard conflicting stories about them, some say they work fine and other people say they are shit ?

I had a Holley 350 on the 2F - spent a day on a chassis dyno with a box of jets and power valves to tune it spot on. Heaps of power, sh!t on economy. BUT...point it more than about 15 degrees up a hill and it would flood. Left me hanging 1/2 way up Wombat Spur in a very nasty spot. Used to flood on the Stockton dunes. Eventually went back to a standard carby with the fuel return pipe, and an air cleaner from the NSW models (why they were different I don't know). This is large flat unit that sits on the rocker cover. This also made fitting the dual battery under the bonnet easy, using the tray from a Diesel 40.
Apparently mounting them backwards works, but is a nightmare on the linkages. 253 Quadrajet is ok, too, coz the fuel bowl is centrally mounted

Im here for the sausage!
so is a 250 Holley too small in most opinions??
what cfm rating is a standard carby on a 2F?
my 2F seems to stall up hills anyways, although i find giving it a bit of hand throttle seems to help, is this common and anyway to overcome it or do i keep pulling on the handthrottle??
cheers...
