WA BBQ event :cancelled : (:

Post by DeWsE »

Hey guys

I just want to put a BBQ idea forward. Some people have expressed some interest at a BBQ get together to meet some of the people off this site. And I owe Longlux a few hard earned beers.

What I am proposing is that you all come to me and we meet at the Mandurah Western foreshore (skate park side)., nice big car park and some bbq’s that we can use.

Really I’m up for anywhere, so if you have a suggestion then feel free to post. I don’t mind going further north to make it easy on other, but I just don’t know any of the areas.

I haven’t set a date, Coz I reckon you guys will need some time to organise so how about we put up a few dates then we can decide. I’m thinking sometime in august????

All welcome, it would be great to have at least 20 people attend!

Matt

Hey Mandurah was just a suggestion.

And what is wrong with driving to Mandurah?

I drive to Leederville twice a week after work….. it’s like 45 mins that you get to chillax

Kamo I can’t help your going away….. two months mate… a hell of a lot happens in that time. Oi at lest your not going back to tassy for 5 months like trent.

I tried to something similar before and we decided we would go for a drive. In the end we didn’t even get a chance to sit down and talk to each other. So I would like to keep this as a BBQ not a drive.

If you wanna drive have a gander in the trips and track section as there is heaps of cool trips being planned all the time.

After last night I’m about to say I will never drink again.. hehe That always lasts for ten minutes though, so no point saying it.

Okay here's an idea

How about we go somewhere people can wheel and set up a bbq there.

I'm thinking jarradale would be good for this because we could have the bbq in the camp area at the end of the track. I don't mind staying with the BBQ getting stuff ready for when ya's get back. and if some people wanna stay and just chat can feel free to do so.

This idea also gets us out of the eye's of the cops, which might not like the presence of a heap of 4bys in town.

What do people think of that?

Also need some dates.
