The GU's are 200kg heavier than a GQ.

I just weighted my comp car, GQ MWB...Without:
- spare tire
- gasoil
- passengers
- tools
- pull-pall

...wight 2620 kg!!!! Which means that in the comp the car weights 3100 kg...

I just came from the Translivania Adventure Trophy 2005 and I start to cutt things off the car....
GQ MWB 105 ", DID Mitsubishi engine with big turbo, fiber glass body, Boogger 38.5/11/16, 2x8274, 5 link front, triangulated 4-link rear, SAW 14" and 16" coil-overs, , 5.1 r&p.

Tuff355 you would most likly save 60 to 80 KG's running Kevlar. I am not sure about fibre glass as GQ guards are light to start with.

My dual cab GQ with bare alloy tray weighs in at 2.23, only weight altering extra's are alloy bar which is lighter than the factory steel bumper & triple batterys.

On alt.fan.landrover a few years back & still aus.cars.offroad sometimes, but I've gone Nissan now :D

I doubt it's stock seeing the best I can get my dual cab to weigh with lightweight tray was 2200, and Nissan is quoting 2 tonne for a trayless GU ute.

Engine & gearbox missing perhaps? :D
