What engine oil should i use?

I have a 2003 Hilux picking it up tomz going to change engine oil but i don't know which one, its done 35,000 3.0lt turbo diesel, and i wanna change the oil every 5,000kms.

Can anyone give me some advice please?

i was thinking of Castrol RX Super?

it was good oil but i swapped oil due to a recomendation buy a mate and the motor actually ran quieter

if i had a diesel i'd run motul multidiesel

but i dont, so i use motul 8100 in my petrol engine

Use what ever is recomended for your truck! For my 60 castrol rx super is rec. I've used it ever since i got it

1990 80 series
turbo diesel
50 mm lift
ARB bullbar
spotties
31 BFG AT uhf safer snorkel

I'd have to agree PENRITE HPR has been the best oil i've found. It's thicker, but smoother too. And i've noticed it hasn't gummed up as much with all the soot that seems to happen with jap diesels. And it's an Australian company.
