well i got an after market pump with no adjustable arms to go with it (like the one on ya altinator but slightly different i recon) can any one lead me in the right dirrection? have tried all local wreckers and a/c auto joints with no luck.....

ok i had these 2 brackets when i had the old a/c still on the truck.... got it taken off to get converted to a air pump but i lost these brackets they loock very similar to that of the adjustable arm off my altinator they are curved with a slot in the middle to allow for adjusting

so just get any curved slotted adjuster and make it fit! I made up my own bracket for my alternator when i had a chev and just used any old generic adjuster and made the fixed mount up.

HMMM wish it was that easy buddy but they where both offset and they dont make em anymore...have already tried one off a 40 series and one off a 2F no good :bad-words:

hmmm I reckon you'll have to go custom unless you can be more specific about the bits you're after.

I've done a custom air conditioner install on a 3B, using a factory air cond bracket froma wrecker, and I made a custom tensioner with a pulley off an old dato or something, and making the bracket for the pulley to go off one of the bolts on the bottom of the brackets, it was pretty simple.
