he could always run some 4.88's, and sell off the 4.3's to some one who needs some,
Yes, 3.0's lack neddies.. thats the main reason they are cheap. very cheap.siklux wrote:is that supposed to be an answer BOGGED??
There was someone else posted while back in Nissan forum trying the same but with swampers not simex's.... they had issues turning them good enough with 4.66s... but everyone expectations are different.
But you can go to town fairly simple with the VL Turbo shit bolting nearly straight up to it - same donk. same in skyline too.
Also a good donor car for a 308 etc at the buy price of em.
Of course with fuel being so expensive some people might start choosing the 3 litre out of preferenc - about 50% better fuel economy.
I know if someone offered me a similar spec 3 litre I'd consider it (with the intent of EFI and turbo)....
as far as the 36"s go they are 16" taller than stock gearing - so whatever diffs come standard with your beast you want 16% shorter than. So if you start with 4.3's (from memory that's right) then you'd be looking for 4.98"s. They dont exist - 4.88's would be as close as you can get.
