gday everyone this is my first post just signed up ive got an fj40 soft top she runs 35 mickey thompsons 2 inch lift and powered by a nice 327 chev im desperate to find a set of cut down doors for it i live in melbourne so if anyone could give me and hints to where i mihgt find some it would be a huge thanks

i have had a thread in regards to this after i put my 42 on its side and took the roof off and cut the doors the thread show's many pic's n variations

Welcome.

If you can find a set of older doors (I think 1974 and older) the window frame is removable from the bottom half. It is attached to the lower part by screws. These doors are distinguished by metal panels covering the winder mechanism instead of a vinyl panel covering the entire inside.

Don't some fiberglass shops make cut down doors too?

yeah there are some fiberglass cut downs but in the thread i mentioned some one was havin dramas with them

when searching its under cut off doors

there was a guy up goldcoast way who was selling 40 panels cheaply i believe.

or yeah Eureka.

also, checkout stateside, stuff is usually well priced in the states.
