What have people been using as mounts for Hilux bars? There's not really anything factory to mount to.

Was thinking about running crush tubes through the chassis.

What model is yours? I can think of 7 spots per side that you could use bolts on. Or 5 if you have dropped hangers with the rhs accross the front.

This is an old pic of my front bar . I made it when i still had the standard hangers etc. It mounts of the 6 original bar bolts. ( is now welded as well )
Started with a piece of c-section & went from there. I wanted the winch as far back as i could
It now has been modified for the Dropped hangers & now has a small stinger on as well.

Here is a my new bar, as you can see I still have to put the rollers on and number plate. I`m also going to paint the 2 outer bottom bars black, the ones that bolt from the side. The 2 vertical bars either side of the winch look better if they are closer to the winch and more up right, but we made this bar so that it will fit a HS9000 and they have a much longer motor on them.

Copied my old one, then just changed the mounts a bit and allowed for the bigger winch.
