Feroza tyre sizes- what are you running??

Feroza tyre sizes- what are you running??
I'm interested in what tyres sizes everyone's running on their Feroza's.
Plus, if they're larger than factory fit (225/70 15) is there is a noticeable loss of performance due to the higher gearing? Or any other tradeoff.
I'm thinking about going for 235/75 15 when mine wear out.....

I use 31" Cooper STT , there great when your mates tail gate you off road cos good sized rocks get stuck in the tread then flick out , same applies with mud

I'm running 235/75 r15 with 40mm lift with no problems
I wouldn't recomend going any bigger unless u put a suspension lift or body lift in.
With no lift and the anti-swaybar removed my 235's scrubbed on the plastic under the front guards.

This is rapidly turning into a "mine's bigger than yours" contest!
James do you reckon they'd be OK on a standard height narrow track?? What brand /model tyre are you running too?
I worked out the speedo error would only be 4km/h @ 100km/h for 235/75 15. Most factory speedos read low anyway.

.... then what would say about a bloke who felt the need for an extra two cylinders under the bonnet as well??
I'd get some really big tyres if I had a second set of rims, I don't fancy them that big for daily use on bitumen. I like to throw it around a bit on road- could see me coming unstuck...

I'd think you shouldn't have any problems if u leave the anti-swaybar on but if you do plan on removing it down the track then I'd put a lift kit in.
Tyres are WILD COUNTRY RADIAL RVT muddies

Hey guys
I havent been on for a while. I finally got some new rubber and wheels.
15x7 sunrasias and the new Wrangler MT/R's 235x75x15. The lift is coming soon. The tyres only scrubbed on the front mud flaps so they were removed. I had an awesome day in the Wattagans in the mud
and the tyre were sh*t hot. I wanted to get the car filthy so I parked in a good size boghole then tramped it in 2nd low which resulted in me almost getting whiplash from the launch out with barely any whheelspin at all.

From your pics it looks like the front mud flaps have heaps of clearance?? Do they hit on full lock or something like that?
They fill out the guards nicely and sound like a good tyre for mud. What are they like on road?
And, if you don't mind me asking, what ballpark figure did you pay for the package (wheels and tyres). I take it you only bought four going by the standard spare wheel cover still fitting?

You only running 35's Besty ?? - Dissapointed mate
31x10.5's on the Widetrack Feroza with 2+" suspension & 2" bodylift is just about spot on perfect. Kills the Low range a bit & definitely back to 3rd on most freeway hills - but otherwise great.
235/75 is perfect for stock or 2" lift wide or narrowtrack - would never go anything smaller if you do any real offroading. If you are rubbing anything with 235/75's on a Widetrack then your Front Torsion Bars have sagged - Wide 'Em Up !! Throw a set of 2" Extended Shackles down the back & you're away !!
Good to here the Goodyear MTR's are getting a big following - I'd say they are going to be my next tyre. Certainly haven't heard any good things about the latest BFG M/T KM's - sad since I have been a BFG fan for a long time......

The outside rear corners were rubbing on the bolts that held on the flaps at about 80% of full lock both ways. As for what they cost, 45 ea rim and 200 ea tyre fitted at Beaurepares. You do the sums, good price I think.
The road noise is awesome, it screams "get outta my way i'm cumin through" and you can hear it along way away (just what you need for a little truck) 8) , so if you don't like the noise don't gettem or turn the stereo up. 8)
