Changing power steering fluid

1987 EFI RR

Whats the best procedure for changing the power steering fluid, and does the RR have a filter in the reservour.
How much fluid do I need.

from mem the power steering system holds 8L or something stupid like that. May i ask why u need to remove all the power steering fuild??

I have never changed it fully, but if you loosen the nipple on the steering box ,most of the fluid will drain out. I usually get a syringe and suck out the reservoir to partially change the fluid.
The old tin tanks have a replaceable filter, but the plastic tanks have to be replaced to renew the filter.
Be careful not to run the pump when dry or could be expensive.
