cracked 2LT... no surprise

Post by Turby2LT »

Hey all...

So the thing's got 4 cracks in the head... no choice but to stick a new one in, and all the bits and pieces are ready to go.

Now, I've had thermostat problems that apparently caused the cracking, so I"m going to be changing that over and giving the cooling system a once over. Radiator looks good.

Is there anything I should get looked at while the top's off? Con rods etc are straight, no hassles with bits and bobs, we're getting new valves fitted just in case, not sticking in the intercooler just yet though...

Any suggestions, comments, sympathies will be accepted gratefully.

From what I understand if your heads stuffed replace it with a 3L head and this should most of the problems associated with the 2Lt head. But you will find it all on the above site
