What a pity!!!!!! 2 Door 1991-92 Surf for auction

Post by mattyd »

I just spotted this up for Auction.

Such a pity it has extensive damage. I'd absolutely love to own a 2 door surf of this style. So few of them around.

Anyone ---- do you think it is worth repairing? Fixable?

Matt

it doesnt look like it rolled from the pics so it must have been a preety big impact, but i cant see how teh damage was caused. it didnt hit a pole, but something looks like its landed on the screen. with out looking at ti closely id say its probably only worth about $3000 or so.......

It almost looks like something fell off a truck onto the bonnet and windscreen.

"It looks completely Farked and would not buy it to fix Shocked"

I came to the same decision last night. I agonised over whether or not it would be worth fixing, and decided that the damage is too severe. It has the roof bent from drivers-side of windscreen across to half way back on the passenger door. The passenger door is damaged and would require replacing, the engine bay looks like it is in all sorts, and the bull bar is a throw away.

Even without seeing it in person I can see that it wouldn't be worth fixing.

Anybody else want to buy it to show me otherwise? Would love to see it restored to good condition.
