HELP
Front wheel bearing lock nut for no apparent reason has come loose.
Whats the best way to adjust my front wheel bearings on my 89 LWB GQ.
The lock washer will be replaced as the old one is cactus.
Bending in is easy...how do I bend it out to lock the outer nut??
Thanks
Chook

Need HELP - front wheel bearings
After you adj bearing with inner nut, lube new washer, pinch up lock nut, bend tab in using large flat screwdiver, Take care not to poke any bits into bearing.
Now tighten lock nut up nice and tight. Bend washer up again as stated above using a large screwdriver by rolling it as you tighten.
Lube freewheeling hub with engine oil so it doesnt hydraulic lock.
You can get the later lock nut and screw set from Nissan so washer not needed any more.
