New Warn 9.0R

Very small drum on it but it looks the goods

The warn contingency program is a good incentive to be running a warn winch if rock crawling in the US. Pity there isn't a similar thing here, unless i haven't heard of it.

What's the big deal with this?

In the UK challenge scene fitting wider drums to 8274s seems to be the current trend. can't see having less drum capacity as an advantage?

Mind those new 6HP motors do give a new lease of life to our old 8274s :)

cheezy ran one of them on his buggy.. looks the goods.

POS and I have simliar ones - we just cut down our 6000lbs to small drums.

not sure... if i remember what has been said about it... 'its a new model 9000lb cut down' - dont quote me on this.. cant remember if this is correct.

Mainly for rock crawling. Where you dont usually have to winch 100's of metres ;)

In comp crawling you may only have to winch for a short distance and only then as a recovery if the vehicle is on its roof.

Smaller drum = less wire = less weight

You can't get em for either love nor money....

Seen the one on Cheezy's buggy ( looks trick  ). Apparently he has the only one in the country. Only Warn sponsored hardcore rock crawlers (buggies) can get em....

I have tried too get another one into OZ but without luck. I also have been told if I brake it my nuts will be cut off as only sponcered crawlers in the US can get them. For more Info about them contact Lockee at Atico in Vic. :D
NOW ABLE TOO SAY WHAT I WANT WITHOUT FEAR OF LOOSING SALES.
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it.
