The bug bites there is no denying that. While I don't know your friends personally I would say that at least 8 / 10 people get bit on the ass really hard by the 35's Locker inflicting bug...

I really do condone getting a 12k - 10k car and spending 10 or 8 on it. At the end of the day you will have a more capable driver friendly vehicle, if it is customised to your specific needs. There is nothing wrong with a good GQ yeah boxy but damn't.

Rick slater up this way who used to be the phone man at binskins before he sold his shop to glenn marshman has a really really really shmick Turboed td42 Blue over silver LWB with a 4" lift 33's on bling chrome rims. THe thing looks insane it makes me wanna keep mine straight.. With the right amount of polishing and chromerisation a gq can look damn BLING BLING...

Yeah gq's are ugly basic but you do get something that is stronger than an 80 series. Toyotas do have a win win in the trim + plush factor. If you could get a turbo diesel 80 series sahara with factory lockers for under 25 then that would be a gogo but you can't say meh.

I just don't see the argument.... I do from a resale point of view but not from a wheelers perspective other than a predisposition towards toyotas because grandpa had one...

Get a gq...
