Got one out at last it took one person to pull and one to push, but its out. Have swapped glass to new one but cant get it back in..
The section of instructions on reinstalling using rope doesnt make sense, to me anyway. Can anyone re explain this section in Bogged's notes...especially how thick the rope should be...the following is from Bogged's notes.

With Rope you sit the rubber inside the groove where the lip of the body will seal to it holding both ends with your hands. Then get mate to lift window up to where it goes, sit one corner of the rubber on the lip (where the rope isnt - eg: pull the ends of the rope away to allow rubber to sit there.)window where it has to go on the body, you get on the inside and slowly pull the rope to spread and lift the rubber over the lip it goes onto.. Check the interior material sits correctly too.

Narrow rope.
Basically what you are doing using the rope to pull the rubber apart as you push it on, you sit inside, and pull on the rope to spread the rubber so it fits into its place...
I'll try and get a photo tomorrow
