water puts out the fire
after seeing about 6 to 8 comp 4x4s hit water today at the ATECO winch challange and suffer loss of spark,i ask why? these guys spend so much time money and effort on ther rigs but for about 20 bucks the fire will not go out or if it does it will be easyer to start. a can of inox, crc,or wd40 helps lots.seal up the dissy, pull a rubber glove over the dissy.it works lots of speed boat racers do this stuff.its a shame when guys are doing so well only to be stoped by some stray water where it should not be.
smooth rides with power
Which is just like keeping thhe water out of the electrics in a petrol.bad_religion_au wrote:ok, if oyu keep the intake out of the watermickyd555 wrote:is not..................you could hydraulic it too, so there really is no garunteebad_religion_au wrote:even do all those things it's not a guarentee. only guarentee is diesel
I used own a couple of minis and in the Britsh builders infinite wisdom they put the dissy behind the grill so in any sort of wet weather it would get wet and stop the car (because it musn't rain in England I'm guessing
We aldo did this on my old mans Pajero and it nevver had any problems. Alot of times using WD40 and some well placed splash gaurds and some marine grease does the trick
