Motorway Mud-terrains
Guys,
Anyone have experience with the Motorway retreads in Mud-terrain pattern? Interested in putting a set on a Zook as I'm operating on a very limited budget. Looking to fit 30x9.5x15s.
Also, any truth in the rumour that Motorway is in receivership? Hate to buy a set, to then have a warranty issue arise that wont be covered.
Cheers...

Cheers guys,
Rang Motorway today and they confirmed they are under voluntary administration, but have no intention to stop production, are still full steam ahead and are trying to work through a tough time.
Two retailers I rang report that a few are coming back for warranty claims, but no more than usual for a retread or regular tyre, and most customers are fairly happy for the price.
Best price I've found so far is $95 fitted (in Melbourne) for the 30x9.5x15s, is that about right for this tyre?
Cheers...

My old man is running them on his troopy (31 mudders) almost 1/2 gone. Had 1 with a side wall that got a bubble (small) and was replaced under warranty. Then they found out that when he had the tyre swapped to a different rim, the last fitter actually damaged the bead causing the bubble to start. Still replaced with no fuss.
He also carries about a ton of sh*t in it. Seem to handle OK.

Guys,
Interesting you mention the Mongrel as I've thought about them as well. But its an extra $50 per tyre and they're directional arent they? Which means either 2 spares or a same size spare of a different brand? Also... most of the Suzuki's work will be on the farm and then a blurt down the road for some 4WDing and hunting. The Mongrel may be too much of a good thing (too aggressive) for the intended work.
Cheers...
